Just watched it today, and i was confused at first. Yeah, i didn't realize that it was flashbacks. Guh.
Unlike what many other people said about how you would cry at the end... i didn't. Well, the story was incredibly touching, seriously.

OHOH, and does anyone else remembers that one show called Bear In The Big Blue House? I loved that show so much. The intro of the song makes me wanna act like a 5 year old. I miss Kids Centrel. ANTI OKTO! Not that i'd watch Kids Centrel anymore... but still.
