I missed writing and blogging. It is sort of my fault i suppose, i got lazy. Since when was i not lazy though? That nagging feeling, the itchiness of my fingers brought me here. I had the feeling to write but now that i'm actually on here, its gone. Isn't that always the case.
Its O Level year and i'm not studying enough i feel. I know i ought to delete my twitter and tumblr, or at least the apps from my phone. I just cant bring myself about to do it. Something's stopping me and is this what you call addiction? God i hope not. When the holidays are over, i'd do it. I'd delete it all. I hope i do. I always thought i had better judgement and better decision making skills, guess not.
Art's been going tough. I'm never happy with my work and that's normal for me. Why can't i paint? Why.
I've not been watching the Milan MFW shows but that's because i cant be bothered. Pictures will do. I do like Jil Sander and most of Burberry so far. I'm obviously not going to comment for i am but just a child with no fashion knowledge whatsoever. I just like what looks good and interesting. I'll watch Paris MFW though. Damir Doma especially. NOT GOING TO MISS THAT.
Refraining myself from writing about the models or else i will just write a whole paragraph on it.
Yeah, to be quite honest, i only got into this whole ~men's fashion~ because of the models, but now i'm hooked. I'll grow out of it soon.
I know its terribly late but i needed to write this out so i wouldn't forget.
MGMT, were disappointing live. I was expecting a little more punch but it didn't arrive. There was no punch. There was no extra 'oooomph'. The crowd during their set was what made it enjoyable though. They were so into it, singing along and jumping till the floor shook. It was mad, i thought i was going to die when the floor started shaking. But yeah, the crowd was great. What shone though from that concert, was Whitest Boy Alive. They were beyond amazing live, phenomenal even. You listen to their songs and you'd think, "Oh, how mellow and chill they are." Live though, they brought that punch that MGMT didn't. They were fun to geekily dance along to. Too bad their set was short. I just wanted to write that so that i wouldn't forget how good WBA were, in case they come again.
Thought i'd write about my one of my favourite bands as well; Arctic Monkeys.
These bros have a new album out, Suck It And See. We had a first taste of what it might sound like with Brick By Brick. Didnt like that. Then out came Don't Sit Down 'Cause I've Moved Your Chair. I didnt like that either. Then the album streamed on their site and i took a listen. Can i just say how different they sound? I do not have the ability to put the new sound into words. Just that i absolutely love it (except for two-three songs). I respect it. They've grown and i still love them. /fangirl forever.
This is the final week of holidays. I need to make sure i set aside at least 5 hours of studying. Tough shit huh.
Also, i feel bad for this is what i've been waiting for since god knows how long ago and now that it has semi happened, i do not want it anymore. I'm too comfortable not acknowledging you and now that i have to, its too hard. You feel it though. Sorry.
